Samskit is operated by Offload Tecnologia Ltda. (Samskit, we, our, or us), a company incorporated in Brazil. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Samskit platform, including our website, web application, browser extensions, and any related services (collectively, the Service).
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to:
• Visitors to our website (samskit.com)
• Users who register for and use the Samskit platform
• Employees, contractors, and representatives of companies that purchase Samskit ("Customer Organizations")
If you are using Samskit on behalf of a company, that company is the "Customer" and is responsible for ensuring that its employees use the Service in accordance with applicable law, including data protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
• Account registration data: name, email address, job title, company name
• Billing information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card details
• Support communications: messages you send to our support team
• Profile preferences and platform settings
2.2 Information Collected Automatically Through the Service
• Sales call recordings: audio and video recordings of meetings joined by the Samskit bot via calendar invitation
• Transcripts: text transcriptions derived from call recordings with speaker identification
• Call metadata: meeting title, participants, duration, date, and meeting platform (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
• CRM data: deal fields, contact records, and pipeline data synced from HubSpot or Salesforce via authorized integration
• Usage data: feature usage, session duration, pages visited within the app, and interactions with the platform
2.3 Information from Third-Party Integrations
When you connect Samskit to third-party services (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Calendar, Slack, Gmail, Outlook), we access only the data necessary to provide the requested feature. We do not sell or share data obtained from these integrations beyond what is required to operate the Service.
2.4 Technical and Device Data
• IP address, browser type, and operating system
• Log files and error reports
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 9)
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide, operate, and improve the Samskit platform
• Record and transcribe sales calls at the direction of the Customer
• Generate AI-powered summaries, deal intelligence, follow-up drafts, and CRM field suggestions
• Automatically update CRM records in connected integrations upon user authorization
• Send post-call summaries and alerts via email, Slack, or in-app notifications
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Respond to support requests
• Send service-related communications (not marketing, unless you opt in)
• Monitor for security threats and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your call recordings or CRM data to train AI models for any purpose other than providing the Service to you, without your explicit consent.
Call Recording - Consent and Disclosure
Samskit joins sales calls as a bot participant. The bot's presence is disclosed to all meeting participants through its visible name in the meeting interface. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that all participants in a recorded meeting have been notified of and consented to recording, in accordance with applicable laws (including two-party consent laws in certain jurisdictions).
Samskit provides the technical capability to record and does not control whether recording is legally permissible in any given call. Customers are solely responsible for complying with applicable recording consent laws.
Legal Bases for Processing (LGPD and GDPR)
We process personal data under the following legal bases:
• Contract performance: to deliver the services you have purchased or signed up for
• Legitimate interests: to improve our platform, prevent fraud, and ensure security
• Legal obligation: to comply with applicable law
• Consent: for optional features such as marketing communications or certain data integrations
For users in Brazil, our data processing is governed by the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018). For users in the European Economic Area and the UK, processing is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
• Service providers: with trusted vendors who help us operate the platform (cloud infrastructure, AI transcription, payment processing, analytics). All vendors are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions.
• CRM and integrations: data is shared with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other tools you explicitly connect to Samskit
• Within your organization: summaries, transcripts, and deal intelligence are accessible to authorized users within your Customer Organization
• Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred; affected users will be notifiedData Retention
• Call recordings: retained for 30 days by default; Customers may configure shorter retention periods or delete recordings at any time
• Transcripts and summaries: retained for the duration of the active subscription plus 30 days after cancellation
• Account data: retained for the life of the account plus 30 days after account deletion
• Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by Brazilian tax law
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@samskit.com. Deletion requests will be honored within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Data Storage and International Transfers
Samskit stores data on cloud infrastructure located primarily in the United States (via AWS/GCP). As a Brazilian company serving a global user base, we transfer personal data internationally. For users in the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to legitimize these transfers. For Brazilian users, transfers comply with Article 33 of the LGPD.Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
• Maintain your authenticated session

• Collect analytics data (via tools such as PostHog or Mixpanel)
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Service may not function correctly if you do. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
